HistorianGPT: Multi-Agent AI for History Learning
A multi-agent AI system that produces structured, validated history explanations for students.

The challenge
Single-prompt chatbots tend to produce shallow or inaccurate answers on historical topics, which is risky in an educational setting. HistorianGPT was designed to give students reliable, structured history explanations rather than one-shot generated text.
The solution
The system uses a multi-agent architecture orchestrated with CrewAI, where specialized agents divide the work: one researches the topic, another composes the answer, and another validates the result. Users specify a question, a geographic context and an output language, and the agents produce a structured summary with key events and timelines. A human-in-the-loop validation step checks each question before research begins, keeping the system focused and appropriate for learning.
Highlights
- Multi-agent pipeline (researcher, writer, validator) built with CrewAI
- Human-in-the-loop question validation before research runs
- Location-aware answers for regional historical context
- Multilingual output, including Vietnamese, Indonesian and English
